Remarketing – A way to reconnect with users who have interacted with a website before. But don’t do a specific shopping or conversion behavior.
Remarketing can be done in many different forms.
It could be: Emai marketing, Brand SMS, Search ads, Display network, etc. and cloud clouds.
Uses of remarketing
One of the most visible uses that remarketing offers is awareness and branding. Customers will always see you where they go.

How to create remarketing campaigns on popular platforms.
To be able to run remarketing on Facebook, you need pixels.

Step 1: You access the Facebook ad manager.
Step 2: Select on business tools ()> Objects
Step 3: Choose Create Audience> Custom Audience
Step 4: In this step, depending on your needs, you can choose to remarketing which traffic sources.
Step 5: Create an audience.
In the Source section, you can choose the pixels you have mounted earlier on your website.
For the Events section you can choose 3 options:
All visitors to the website
A visitor to a specific website (here is a purchase landing page or a conversion page, as you define it for a closer target)
Target by time of use
Once you’ve created an audience you can launch an ad campaign as you normally would. At the target group selection, you can choose the group of objects you just created.
For remarketing on google ads, you need to have google analytics. Actually, you can remarketing without GA but I don’t recommend it. I have written an article about the importance of google analytics in business activities, please read through it.

Step 1: Access to your GA account and select the setting () In Product Links> Audience Definition> Audience
Step 2: choose Create New Audience> All Website Data
Here you can select suggested audiences or segments for remarketing depending on who you want to target.
After selecting the object you will go to its detailed setup page. By default, GA will save the cookie for 30 days or you can customize it according to the purpose of use.
Click on the pen image () You can customize the paragraphic details for this object.
Finally, just select the google ads account you want to run to create your campaign.

Literally this is a 3rd party that buys display ads from facebook and google in combination with private deals of some other publishers outside of facebook and google. For that reason, criteo’s advertising inventory is very large, allowing you to re-marketing on multiple platforms.
